Juan Ochoa is one of Ed’s younger brothers. He had been asking for a sign from Ed and he received it in the most remarkable way. Please go to the links below to see the video. You might have to search for the video on the Ktvu Channel 2 website. I put down a discription of the video to help you locate it.

7:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15,

These past few weeks have been very difficult for the whole family. Losing Ed has been a great loss for my parents, brothers and sisters, especially for his children (Kevin Eleazar, Stefany, Steve, Stessy, and Stanley) and his wife Maria (Marisol). My name is Esmeralda Villegas Ochoa and I’m one of Eleazar’s (Ed) sisters. At this time his wife and children are not ready to provide updates and comments, so I will be doing the posting and updates per their request. Marisol did ask me to post that she is very grateful and appreciates all the generous donations and cards that have been given to the family and Stessy. We also want to say thank you for everyone who has prayed for the soon recovery of Stessy and my brother Ed’s soul salvation. Thank you also for all the food that has been donated to Ed’s wife and children. Thank you to the parishioners of St. Christopher Catholic Church in Galt, who provided a luncheon for the family and friends after Ed’s burial. We also want to say thank you to my uncle Antonio Ochoa and my aunt Rosa and their sons and daughters ((Ramiro, Alvaro, Imelda and Maria) for providing dinner after the visitation on Thursday and for luncheon on Friday after the burial. Thank you to all the hundreds of people who came to the visitation, mass and burial. Thank you to all the farmers and Farmer Market Coordinators who have organized cash collections and for all their support. Dan and Carlos who have been in contact with Marisol and provided their assistance in whatever they have been able to. I apologize if I don’t mention everyone who has helped Marisol from the Farmer’s Market, but I don’t know all the names. Thank you to Alex Melati Chavez who helped create this blog and bless her heart for her thoughtfulness. Thank you for all the beautiful flowers arrangement received at the funeral services. Thank you to Jose and Gabriel from the Galt Funeral Home, who coordinated Ed’s funeral Services by providing excellent service even during times when we were not willing to listen. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to provide comments about my brother Ed and Stessy. I didn’t realize that he was so cared and love by so many people. It’s a great feeling to know that he touched so many lives and that he left a legacy in this world. Per Marisol his flower business will continue and will resume soon. Don’t know exactly where yet, but we will post something next week when Marisol tells me where they will be attending. Stessy is doing much better; today she was able to take a shower by herself and will start school on Monday. Thank you once again for everyone’s support. It’s very rewarding to see how a community comes together for someone in their community.

Stessy

Hello, as many of you know Stessy was in the car accident that took the life of her father Eleazar last week. She is doing much better and was moved from intensive care to a regular room on Oct. 5th. She is talking, eating solid foods, and even drawing.
